• Please arrive 15 minutes before your session - This allows time to fill out necessary paperwork, conversations about your health history and for therapist evaluations. • Confidentiality is maintained at all times • You will be treated with respect and dignity at all times. • Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times. • You will not be discriminated against your age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body type, and political affiliation, state of health or personal habits. • Privacy - You are in a private room to undress and dress, and to undress to your comfort level. • Draping - You are covered with a sheet/blanket and only the parts of body being worked on will be uncovered, then re-draped. The genital region will be COVERED AT ALL TIMES and will not be massaged. •All client/therapist relationships will remain professional at all times.
Late, No-Show and Cancellations:
•Late Arrivals - If you happen to be late, in all fairness to other clients after you, please be aware that it will only be less time for your treatment. Your session will still end at the scheduled time and you still be charged for the full session fee. •No-Shows - Not showing up for your scheduled appointment will be considered a "No-Show", you will be charged 50% of your scheduled session fee that will be due at the beginning of your next scheduled appointment to continue to receive treatment. •Cancellation - Please provide 24 Hours notice before your appointment, that way I am able to fill your time slot. Failure to provide at least 24 hours may result in termination of all future treatments. EXCEPTIONS: Legitimate emergency situations.
Your Rights as a Client:
• Communication - you are encouraged to inform me if you feel uncomfortable at any time, about the pressure (i.e lighter or deeper) during the massage, as well as with the choice of music and lighting. • You have the right to inform me if you do not like any particular smell in the room (i.e. purfumes, essential oils etc.) • To feel safe and comfortable. • To have an assessment of your needs and a treatment plan specifically designed to your needs. • The right to refuse, modify or terminate any treatment at any time. • Good hygiene by the therapist and including clean linens and clean therapy room. • Proffesional and punctual therapist.
My Rights as a Therapist (Right of Refusal):
• Intoxication and/or innapropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of your treatment. • Sexual Harassment is never tolorated and will be cause for immediate termination of treatment and future treatments. • If you arrive to your appointment un-showered after excersizing, I have the right to refuse service.
Scope of Practice:
•I do not diagnose, or prescribe for any bodily dysfunction. •I will only provide massage within my scope of practice. •I can provide referrals for you that may help you with any condition that is out of my scope of practice. (i.e. Physician, Chiropractor).
